About Us

The Lodge

White Mountain Lodge was originally built in 1892, by William Lund, as a home for his growing family. The Lund family farmed potatoes, wheat, livestock, and other necessities until the 1940's. The property has since changed hands several times, with each owner doing and adding something a little different. White Mountain Lodge is presently owned by AnnMarie Bothwell, who lives onsite in the owner's wing.

It's been said that the lodge is haunted. You'll have to decide that for yourself!

Amenities

White Mountain Lodge has 6 suites, each with private bathrooms, as well as an extra powder room. The lodge will sleep 18 people, via king beds, queen beds, and sofa beds. The main lodge kitchen is downstairs, and there is an additional full kitchen upstairs. 2 suites also have kitchenettes with refrigerators. The lodge has a beautiful wood burning fireplace, with a local Malapais stone surround. There is a propane grill on the back porch, all linens, cookware, and dinnerware are provided, so bring your own food & clothing, and just come to relax!

Enjoy the sights, sounds, and fishing from the Little Colorado River, located directly behind the lodge! The river is a bird watchers paradise, but you're also likely to see deer, elk, turkeys, and other wildlife hanging around in the backyard! Be vigilant with little ones...we have bear & mountain lions on occasion, as well
